We are normally listed by the major search engines in response to a search for “Southwold Jazz Festival”.  However, there are still some web sites which include links pointing to our previous site, “southwold-live-jazz”, which has been redundant since Dec 2005.  When we become aware, we bring any such anomaly to the attention of site administrators, but this is of course the limit of our influence in these matters.  So, we repeat, - - -

We are still awaiting developments at the possible new venue for SJF.  As soon as we are able, we will publish new information.

 

In the meantime, please keep watching this site.  We will endeavour to continue to publish information about local events which may interest you.  Un-usually, you will also find information in this web site about Jazz in Madeira, for those jazz fans who plan to visit this popular destination.

 

Although we will not be putting on a festival in 2008, we would like to assure all of our supporters that we are still active, and we are now much more hopeful of the possibility of a couple of SJF Special promotions later in the year.   This is dependent on many factors, so is subject to confirmation.  There is  information on the page which is entitled SJF Update.
